FAQ
Time strictness on bookings
Generally, there is some flexibility in timings if the studio isn't busy, with a reasonable 15 min allowance either side of the booking, but any further could risk the booking being cancelled.
Is there parking at the studio?
The studio will usually have free parking just outside, but other businesses may park outside, too. Please leave your number on the dashboard of your car in case it needs to be moved. Otherwise, local street parking is available.
I'm new to studio photography, can I have an introduction?
Of course you can! We'll always provide a free introductory session to new creatives working in the space to get you comfortable using the backdrops & lights while always keeping a consistent line of communication if you ever need advice :)
rULES FOR THE KIT
As mentioned previously, you'll be given a thorough introduction to the space & how everything works, but some general specifics to keeping the kit safe & functional:
*Backdrops must be removed & taped tightly after every booking to avoid damage, which may require a charge to replace
*Light stands must always have sandbags
*Be wary of cables as trip hazards, tape to the floor if it's an immediate danger
*Lights can get warm, especially the spotlights & gobos, which should be handled with gloves to avoid a burn risk
*Make sure everything's turned off & tidied away at the end of your booking to keep the space ready for the next person*
Booking change or
cancellation policy
We can usually rearrange your booking given enough warning; however, cancellations made within 7 days of the booking are eligible for a 50% refund & cancellations/no-shows within 48 hours of the booking will not receive a refund.
